Description
Kodi Color Rubber Base Gel Black 7ml is a highly pigmented black rubber base that combines the function of a base coat with an intense color finish. Its rich black pigmentation creates an even, deep-toned coating and makes it a useful choice for dark nail designs or as an underlayer for translucent and effect gel polishes.
The medium-viscosity, thixotropic formula stays controlled during application and spreads evenly across the nail plate. The base can be worn on its own or covered with a compatible top coat.

Color & Finish
Black is a rich, intense black shade with strong pigmentation. Applied alone, it creates a bold monochrome manicure; used underneath translucent or effect gel polishes, it can help intensify the appearance of the design.
The dark base is particularly useful for magnetic, shimmer and other effect finishes where a deep background is required.
How to Use
- Prepare the natural nail plate using your standard manicure procedure.
- Apply a very thin layer of transparent Rubber Base or Quick Base as an underlayer and cure.

Apply Kodi Color Rubber Base Gel Black in one or two thin layers.

Cure each layer for approximately 90–120 seconds in an LED lamp or 2–3 minutes in a UV lamp, depending on the lamp and pigmentation.
- Finish with a compatible top coat.
For natural nails, Kodi recommends keeping the free-edge length within approximately 5 mm when using the colored base. The product can also be applied over modeled artificial nails.
