Cone 21160 Carbide Nail Drill Bit is a cone-shaped carbide bit with a red fine cross-cut. It is designed for controlled removal of gel polish, correction of artificial nails, removal of lifted material and work with thickened nail plates. The fine cut makes it suitable for precise material removal during e-file manicure and pedicure procedures.

Red Fine Cross-Cut
The red marking indicates a fine cut. The cross-shaped teeth provide controlled cutting and are suitable when a finer level of material removal is required. In the product range, red corresponds to fine cutting, while blue and green indicate progressively coarser cuts.
How to Use
Insert the bit into a compatible e-file handpiece and select the rotation speed according to the material and procedure. Work with controlled movements and light, even pressure. Avoid prolonged contact with one area and aggressive filing directly on the natural nail plate.
For this model, retailers indicate a maximum rotation speed of up to 25,000 rpm.
Disinfection & Sterilization
Disinfection:
- After use, place the carbide bit into a suitable disinfectant solution. The concentration and exposure time should follow the instructions of the selected disinfectant.
- Clean the working surface from product residue and filings using a nylon or brass bur-cleaning brush.
- For more effective cleaning, the use of an ultrasonic cleaner is recommended.
- Rinse the bit under running water, followed by distilled water.
- Remove excess water with a clean, dry towel.
Sterilization:
Autoclave: Place the cleaned and dried bit into a sterilization pouch and seal it before placing it in the autoclave.
Sterilization cycle: 132°C, 2 bar, 20 minutes.
Dry heat sterilization: Place the cleaned and dried bit into a dry-heat sterilizer.
Sterilization cycle: 180°C, 60 minutes.
